Delete Account
This page explains how users of Revstore can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.
For the purpose of this page, “Revstore”, “Rev”, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Rev Technologies, having its registered office at No. 173, Bhavani Nagar, Ayapakkam, Chennai – 600077, Tamil Nadu, India.
1) Who can use this page
This account deletion process applies to users of the following Revstore services:
- Revstore Customer app
- Revstore Retailer app
- Revstore Rider app
2) How to request account deletion
You can request deletion of your account by contacting our support team through either of the following methods:
- Send an email to support@revstore.in
- Or raise the request through in-app / internal chat support
Please include the following details in your request:
- Your full name
- Your registered mobile number and/or email address
- Your account type: Customer / Retailer / Rider
- Your shop name or rider ID, if applicable
- The subject line: Account Deletion Request
3) Verification before deletion
To protect user accounts and prevent unauthorized deletion requests, we may verify your identity before processing your request. Verification may include confirming your registered mobile number, email address, recent account details, or other account-related information.
4) Outstanding dues, settlements, or obligations
For some account types, account deletion may require pending operational or financial matters to be completed first.
- Retailers: pending settlements, outstanding dues, chargebacks, disputes, compliance checks, or open orders may need to be resolved before final account closure.
- Riders: pending payouts, cash collection reconciliation, active orders, disputes, or compliance checks may need to be resolved before final account closure.
- Customers: unresolved refunds, disputes, chargebacks, wallet adjustments, or active orders may need to be completed before final account closure.
Where such matters exist, your deletion request may remain open until the outstanding items are cleared. Once those items are resolved, the account deletion request will be completed.
5) What happens when your account is deleted
Once your verified deletion request is approved and any required outstanding matters are cleared, we will delete or anonymize your account and associated personal data from our active systems, except where retention is required for legitimate business or legal reasons.
Examples of data that may be deleted from active systems include, as applicable:
- Profile information
- Login-related account records
- Saved addresses
- Shop profile details
- Routine support/chat records associated with the account
6) Data that may be retained
Certain records may be retained for a limited period where required for legitimate purposes, including:
- security and fraud prevention
- dispute resolution and chargeback handling
- tax, accounting, settlement, and audit requirements
- compliance with applicable law, regulation, or lawful requests
- enforcement of our terms, policies, and platform safety requirements
Such retained records will not be used to restore normal account access unless required for security or legal reasons.
7) Retention period
Where retention is required, relevant records may be retained for up to 90 days from closure of the deletion request, or longer if required by applicable law, tax rules, accounting standards, court order, law-enforcement request, fraud investigation, or dispute resolution process.
8) Processing timeline
We aim to review and process valid account deletion requests within a reasonable period after:
- identity verification is completed, and
- any outstanding dues, settlements, disputes, or active obligations are cleared.
9) If you only want to stop using the service
If you do not want permanent deletion, you may choose to stop using the app and uninstall it. However, uninstalling the app alone does not delete your account or associated data.
